From House Church to Rwanda

Richard Miller has a strong passion to develop individuals and organizations to achieve their desired success. Richard, then Major Miller, was thrust into the Vietnam war as commander of a combat unit that was disfunctional because of previously unprofessional leadership. Richard, then Major Miller, teamed with a seasoned First Sergeant, and together they restored the unit to combat ready in thirty days.
After retiring from the military, Dick Miller, as a VP of Business Development of an Architecture and Engineering company, lead a team effort that resulted in a ten-fold increase in gross income within a five-year period.
Richard's childhood dream of traveling to ancient Siam was actually orchestrated by The Shepherd.  The Rescuser plucked the prodigal from the darkness of rebellion, cleaned him up and  set him on a challenging journey up the mountain with a new mission.
After his retirement from the corporate world, Richard and his wife founded a House Church in their dream house in Kansas. Then  he answered the call to mentor the founders of the School Entrepreneurship Network (SEN)  in Rwanda. Richard adapted the Tools for Transformation to create a seminar Intgrating Entrepreneurship and Discipleship for use with the Youth of Rwanda.
Dr. Miller is a retired combat veteran, holds degrees in Electrical and Bioenvironmental Engineering and a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership.    The hero of the story is the Redeemer who forgives and then provides lessons to unlock the dynamic energy embedded in God’s words to create congruence among all aspects of life.
Remember to keep your wording friendly, approachable and easy to understand… as if you were talking to your customers. The Prodigal Road is the personal story of the rescue of an exuberant young
man who became entrapped in the deceitful clutches of evil. Dr. Richard Miller—
the author and subject of the book—interweaves the antics, joy, and pain of an
adventuresome boy exploring the hills of Appalachia and imagining the thrill of
exploring faraway places.
However, due to a poor relationship with his father and his own stubborn will, he
drifted into a life of rebellion punctuated by a near-fatal bout with alcohol poisoning.
While pursuing a successful military and corporate career, an invisible war raged in
the background of his life, tormenting him with fear of punishment from an angry
God. At age 35, Richard found himself in Siam, where the Shepherd was waiting,
not to punish him, but to forgive him and saturate him with the exhilarating joy
of unequivocal love! From this beginning, he learned to ingest God’s Word, which
released its dynamic power in his life as the permanent remedy for fear, anxiety,
and stress, and PTSD. This book will help you acquire that same peace.
